Getting Closer to Opening Day!

Construction Continues on the New Library

Visalia Library Closure

The library will be closed beginning October 4, 2008 in order to move all the materials back into the building. Bookmobile service will be located on Encina Street from October 4th to October 25th. (No computers will be available.)

Bookmobile hours will be:

Monday - Thursday : 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday - Closed
Saturday - 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Children's Library Wing Opens

The children's wing of the library opened on June 11th. Construction continues, however, on the adult-services side of the library. The entire library construction project should be completed in Septemeber or October of this year.

Library Will Reopen On June 11, 2008

The library will reopen (with limited services) on June 11, 2008. At that time, in addition to the bookmobiles located on Encina Street, a limited collection of resources, reference services, and computers will be available in the partially completed children’s wing.
